This figure allegory "The Air" depicts Juno with a peacock, surrounded by putti who hand her a cornucopia, a pearl necklace and a mirror. On a rocaille base decorated with flowers. Paul Helmig designed this figure in 1892 as a crown for a jewelry chest designed by Ludwig Sturm (1844-1926) for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The version offered here is the original version with a necklace on Juno's neck. It was only very rarely formed and is therefore considered as extremely rare.
